Stage - 2

 Preparation and service of S8 / S21 notices or notice to quit.    

Fee - £350 + VAT

Disbursement estimate (exc VAT) – NA for first class post

Stage - 3

Drafting and issuing online possession proceedings

Fee - £825 + VAT

Disbursement estimate (exc VAT) - Court issue fee - £391 (currently)

Stage - 4

 Preparation for first hearing (including written instructions to agent/counsel and witness statement if required)    

Fee - £550 + VAT

Disbursement estimate (exc VAT) - NA

Stage - 5

Attendance at First Hearing (if required)    

Fee - NA - attendance by agent or counsel only

Disbursement estimate (exc VAT) = Starting from around £125 (if straightforward and Solicitor agent is used) Or circa £500 + for a junior Counsel attendance (as appropriate) – Higher Fees may apply depending on Counsel availability, Seniority and Complexity of the Case

Stage - 6

Applying for warrant (assuming occupiers fail to comply with possession order)    

Fee - £420 + VAT - Disbursement estimate (exc VAT)
